The Stahr Center is an emergent organization devoted to fostering Lancaster's diverse arts, environmental and social outreach initiatives through the creation of a participant-driven center for community. Our ambition is to provide two of the vital resources needed for progressive, mission driven organizations to thrive: affordable space and a network of supportive peers. By creating an environment that can fulfill these needs, we seek to catalyze Lancaster's development into a more just and vibrant community while providing functional models for a sustainable future.

Vision & Mission Statement

Vision of The Stahr Center:

A non-exploitive, regenerative, cooperative future society.

Mission:

It is the mission of The Stahr Center to house a regenerative community that serves as a functioning model of a sane, non-exploitive future, by providing a home to arts and other organizations committed to sustainable, collaborative, innovative operations, relationships, organizational structures and practices.
